Cello

Garwyn was 10 years old when a combination of having the opportunity to start learning the cello in school and hearing Yo-Yo Ma’s recording of Bach’s first Cello Suite made him fall in love with the instrument.

He has had the opportunity to  study with many great artists such as Sung-Won Yang, Xenia Jankovic, Marcio Carneiro, Romain Garioud, Colin Carr, Claudio Bohorquez, Gary Hoffman, Adrian Brendel, Hyung-ki Joo, and Troels Svane in a variety of festivals and masterclasses.
