William Harris is a cellist, pianist, and vocalist who has achieved significant recognition across multiple disciplines within just seven years of musical study. He holds a Fellowship Diploma in cello performance, a Licentiate Diploma in piano, and an Associate Diploma in voice. William graduated with First Class Honours in Music from Clare College, Cambridge, where he was also a choral scholar. He followed this with studies at the Eastman School for Music with Steven Doane, Rosemary Elliott, and Joseph Johnson and is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Music Arts degree at the Thornton School of Music at the University of Southern California with Ralph Kirshbaum. William has attended prestigious festivals such as Schiermonnikoog Masterclasses, the Smithsonian Chamber Music Seminar and Sitka International Cello Seminar in Alaska. His growing reputation as a cellist was further solidified when he reached the semi-final stage of the Antonio Janigro International Cello Competition in Croatia, and a prize winner in the Radda String Competition. He currently plays on a cello by Finocchi of Perugia from 1750.
